Did you know that overtime is based on the regular rate of pay, which is the compensation you normally earn for the work you perform (not less than minimum wage); AND
The regular rate of pay also must include a number of different kinds of remuneration including but not limited to:
- Piecework earnings;
- Commissions;
- Non-discretionary bonuses; and even
- No Benefit Allowances (a recent court ruling)
